Talat Noi
150-year-old Sino-Portuguese buildings transformed into a cultural venue, featuring preserved tree roots integrated into original walls. Houses an antique collection from prominent Bangkok traders against the backdrop of Chao Phraya River.
Three adjoining 150-200 year old Sino-Portuguese structures meticulously restored by the Hong family, prominent Bangkok antique traders. The buildings retain their original characteristics, with ancient creeping fig roots preserved within the exterior walls, creating a rare example of architecture integrated with natural growth.
The venue documents the area's mercantile history through displayed artifacts and architectural preservation. Its location in a historic Chinese trading quarter adds contextual significance to both the structure and its current function.
