Lucky Duck, MR OU’S FAMOUS LUCKY DUCK

Concept

A third-floor cocktail bar designed by Nopadon Baholyodhin, merging classic Chinese cinema aesthetics with 1920s Hollywood speakeasy elements. Located above Contento restaurant, the space is accessed through a glossy black door past a replica roasted duck stall.

Design

• Leopard print sofa booths sheltered by wooden canopies based on traditional Chinese wedding beds
• Artisanal lanterns and Chinese masks crafted by local artisans
• Bamboo-covered pillars and palm tree-shaped lamps
• Vintage Jim Thompson wallpapers
• Gold accents throughout dim-lit interior

Signature Cocktails

• Rice Lady: Rum infused with pineapple, coconut and roasted rice
• In the Mood: Rose petal gin, strawberry shrub and Strega, served with rose-scented Castella cake
• Concubine: Triple Sec, pomegranate liqueur and mezcal with shichimi rim
• Lucky Duck Negroni: Features chocolate sous vide Campari and rose petal-infused gin
