Concept

A bifunctional music venue that merges a live jazz performance space with an audiophile vinyl bar, opened in 2020 as part of the Central: The Original Store complex restoration project.

Architecture & Design

• Ground floor jazz room featuring ergonomic flow and high glass ceiling
• Centerpiece grand piano for live performances
• Upper floor dedicated to vinyl listening, equipped with 2007 Mcintosh MC252 amplifier
• Interior by Kunichi Nomura's Tripster Inc, incorporating authentic Thai materials

Technical Specifications

• Custom-built OJAS speakers by Devon Turnbull
• Carefully calibrated sound system ensuring balanced frequency spectrum
• Curated collection of over 1,000 vinyl albums and EPs

Programming

• Focus on piano-driven jazz performances by Thai and international musicians
• Vinyl DJ sessions in dedicated listening space
• Live music typically commencing at 21:00 on Saturdays

Context

Located within a historically significant shophouse transformation project that includes exhibition spaces, retail library, and dining venues. Part of a broader cultural initiative in Bangkok's creative district.
