Silom
Flagship hotel occupying 18 floors of Bangkok's iconic pixelated Mahanakhon tower. Features maximalist design by Jaime Hayon blending urban-boho and Art Deco elements with traditional Thai materials and a multicolored whimsical aesthetic.
Located in the Ole Scheeren-designed Mahanakhon tower, distinguished by its pixelated facade. Spanish artist Jaime Hayon led the interior design, creating spaces characterized by round corners, graphic patterns and a bold color palette that deviates from typical Thai-inspired minimalism.
The design incorporates local antique pieces and traditional materials while maintaining a contemporary interpretation. The space serves as a cultural intersection, reflecting Bangkok's status as a melting pot through its architectural and decorative elements.
