Grunewald
1911 Italian Renaissance palace turned luxury hotel, completely redesigned in 2014 by fashion designer Patrick Hellmann. Features rooms co-designed by Karl Lagerfeld and an extensive art collection integrated with fashion elements.
Built in 1911 as a private residence for lawyer Walter von Pannwitz, this Italian Renaissance palace exemplifies early 20th century Berlin grandeur. The original architectural features were preserved during its 2014 transformation by fashion designer Patrick Hellmann.
The property has hosted notable figures including Emperor Wilhelm II, Robert Kennedy, and the Rolling Stones. German actress Romy Schneider celebrated both her wedding receptions here, while Hildegard Knef composed her early chansons within these walls.
