Established in 2023 as The Alchemist's first international location, this venue merges theatrical mixology with futuristic design elements. The interior features celestial lighting installations that function as structural statements during daylight hours and atmospheric illumination after dark. Spaceship-inspired plush seating and rich colored base metals create a distinctly otherworldly environment.

Culinary Approach

• Theatrical cocktail presentations incorporating visual effects like sparks and rising steam
• Integration of local products including Hops & Barley draft beer from Friedrichshain
• Thomas Henry bitter lemonades sourced from Berlin producers

Operating Model

The space operates on an all-day concept, transitioning from daytime café and brunch spot to evening cocktail destination. This adaptability was implemented following extensive socio-economic research by Manchester Business School students, which informed the expansion strategy.
