Solidarity
As public authorities have just decided to extend the health emergency until May 20, the situation for many becomes particularly challenging. From the start, numerous organizations have mobilized to provide assistance to the most deprived. JOOD is one of them!
Founded in 2015, JOOD was created out of goodwill towards the most vulnerable citizens without homes. JOOD is a group of volunteers who step up to help these individuals and carry out actions to facilitate their social and professional integration.
The association organizes, across Morocco and especially in Marrakech, food distributions and supplies of basic necessities to those in need, particularly to those who are homeless. They also carry out distributions to hospitals, other associations, and immigrants.
