Khalil Gibran International School, an institution since 1986
It was in 1986 that Khalil Gibran International School opened the doors of its first campus in Rabat. Founded by Fouad Lyoubi, a university professor and educational expert who was eager to provide students with a rich and varied educational program. Six years ago, a second site was established in the heart of the Targa district in Marrakech.
The Kindergarten welcomes children aged 3 to 5, a crucial age for development during which learning and cognitive systems are awakening. Individualized support is offered to each child to ensure they fully thrive in an environment that encourages community spirit, respect, equality, and diversity.
Teaching in small groups is favored, and class sizes never exceed 15 students to ensure tailored pedagogy to everyone's needs.
A visionary school with an international mission
In 2018, Khalil Gibran International School Marrakech received accreditation from Cambridge following an audit that confirmed the conformity of its programs and facilities in Marrakech with Cambridge standards. Did you know that it's the only institution in the Marrakech-Safi region accredited by Cambridge Assessment International Education?
From a young age, the school prepares students to live in a bilingual and multicultural world by adopting a 100% bilingual system: English and Arabic. The arrangement of different classrooms and the activities in place promote exchange, discovery as well as understanding and embracing cultures.
The latest technologies are skillfully integrated into both education and daily life at the school. Interactive whiteboards and e-blocks available to students make learning more fun!
