It’s rare for a city known to us for many years to still surprise us, yet Marrakech is an exception. Heading down the Route d'Amizmiz, we took a path through a Berber village that led us to our discovery of the month: Le Palais Paysan. Nestled at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, this 4-hectare haven merges naturally with the landscape with its rustic lines and sleek architecture. The term “haven of peace” truly comes to life at Le Palais Paysan, where nature reclaims its rights to provide a rejuvenating stay for its guests.
Le Palais Paysan is the place to remember when you want to go green or celebrate life’s big moments in an exceptional setting. With years of experience in organizing weddings and birthdays, the estate's team orchestrates your celebrations from start to finish, making them memorable.
A slice of paradise between luxury and simplicity
At Le Palais Paysan, nothing is overlooked to ensure the hotel remains in harmony with its surroundings. The 16 rooms with balconies rise in the heart of a lush garden filled with fruit trees and roses, offering an exceptional view enhanced by the backdrop of the Atlas Mountains. The decor’s blend of styles gives the rooms a unique character. Zelliges, vintage armchairs, wicker… inspirations from here and elsewhere live together in perfect simplicity.
The absolute calm that prevails makes Le Palais Paysan a true cocoon of serenity—a Zen atmosphere also found at the spa where you can enjoy the secrets of Moroccan rituals during a purifying hammam or a relaxing massage. And to enhance this wellness break, there is nothing better than a moment to yourself in the jacuzzi or the outdoor pool, both enjoying a panoramic view of the dreamlike landscapes surrounding the hotel.
The awakening of the senses also takes place at the restaurant, which boasts an open terrace on the hotel’s green spaces. To bring you refreshment during the mild Marrakech days, the menu takes you on a journey around the Mediterranean basin by day, then a trip through the heart of Moroccan terroir come evening.
Our stroll through the scented gardens of the hotel continues, leading us to our highlight of the day: the farm. Sheep, goats, donkeys, rams... the sociable animals will delight both the young and old, who can enjoy horseback rides to explore the surroundings.
All good things come to an end. Thus concludes our enchanting visit during which time seemed to have stopped, but we leave with a desire to return soon for a sunny lunch by the pool.
