At the Menara Garden
What better way to get back into shape than the splendid Menara Gardens? Located in the Hivernage neighborhood, it's very accessible. With over a hundred hectares in area, it offers plenty of choices for your dream route. The well-maintained park allows you to run amidst olive trees while enjoying a beautiful view towards Koutoubia. After your run, you can stroll along the wide promenade that leads to the central basin and treat yourself to a well-deserved drink.
Oliveraie Bab Jdid
The Bab Jdid olive grove, stretching between the walls along the Mamounia and the Menara Gardens, offers a great option for kickstarting your fitness this new year. This garden, covering more than one hundred and thirty hectares, has vast open spaces, making it perfect for your jogging routine. And conveniently, you'll find sports fields on its fringes, perfect for further conditioning.
Cyber Park
The Cyber Park is just steps away from the Jemaa el-Fna square, on Mohamed V Avenue. In this green oasis spanning eight hectares, you can indulge in your new favorite hobby. Here, you'll run in a lush, colorful environment. With each step, you'll pass numerous fruit trees and bougainvillaeas. Combining beauty and modernity, the park offers free high-speed internet connection, allowing those who wish to share their athletic feats without delay.
The Palmeraie
Located on the road to Casablanca, the Palmeraie will fully satisfy those who love vast expanses. However, to avoid getting lost in this 15,000-hectare area, we suggest a jogging route this time. You'll start at Douar Abiad and head south along the Route des Jardins. Depending on your fitness level, you can cover up to twelve kilometers by cutting through the road of the Tikida Hotel and heading back north to find the Route des Jardins again. For the more experienced, it's possible to venture off the beaten paths and enjoy areas that remain wild.
Boulevard Mohamed VI
For our last suggestion, we return to the Hivernage district. A prestigious boulevard in Marrakech, Boulevard Mohamed VI stretches out over ten kilometers, with roads designed for pedestrians and thus, joggers. The many gardens it intersperses offer ample spaces for running and sprinting in peace. When it's time to rest, you can sit on a bench and enjoy the coolness of the fountains.
